Update

As early as possible during the year, it is handy and necessary to have an update on how the group is selling be it for your staff planning or for accommodation.

 

It is the role of the account handler to contact the client and ask for an update. We will then know which group will travel for definite and which ones are still pending.

 

Once you are sure your group is going to travel, you can update the Booking Status.

Whenever you receive an update even if the group is not fully confirm you will also have to update the number of rooms in Sales updates. This will allow the accommodation department to keep track on late placement, missing nights and waitlist.

For series best to ask your client their minimum pax number some are lower than 15 pax and you will be able to put it in CU much earlier.

You should ask to receive a sale updates on series every 2 weeks.
