Quoting Caledonian MacBrayne Ferries
Since March 2018, the use of the ferry supplier Caledonian MacBrayne Ferries in both PCM & Group Book has been revised and the following procedure has been put into place.
What is new?
-
The new supplier code “CAL528” is to be used for all new bookings / offers (PCM/group book) with immediate effect that means that all PCMs that will be copied from year to the next will have to be updated
-
You will find one service line per way which displays both passenger and coach rate
-
Location codes have been updated
-
The option codes reflect the villages/towns the ferry departs from, e.g. Oban-Craignure (Isle of Mull) option code OBACRA, Mallaig-Armadale (Isle of Skye) option code MALARM
-
This way you can already restrict the amount of service lines that will be displayed
Screenshots for example Oban – Craignure:

Rates for passengers are automatically pulled. Rates for different coach sizes are loaded but need to be activated by inserting the number 1 on the right hand side under the column coach. It has been agreed to base calculations for a full size coach on 13 metres because this is the most common coach size. In case you have a crossing for foot passengers only the coach lines will remain on ZERO.
If you forget to activate the coach line it will result in an underquoting of the price and most importantly OPS will not book the coach.

In case the coach size changes the costs can easily be amended in group book by deleting the 1 under the 13 meter column and by inserting the 1 under a different coach size for example 12 metres. This way costs can easily be adjusted when dealing with invoice queries.
