This process shows how to send closeouts to FIT agents using a program built in Excel.

The program uses 2 excel documents, including one pivot table linked to Tourplan that can read the availability in the selected hotel and identify what dates have no allocations available.

Agent closeouts

The agent closeouts are done through the “Alma Allocation Closing program” and you will need 2 documents in order to complete the operation: Stop Sale spreadsheet and the Allocation Chart.

The process is done every 2/3 weeks depending on the season and market.

 

The Stop Sale spreadsheets contains all the hotels allocated to the agents, please note that the names of the hotel must match with Tourplan and with the Allocation Chart (same spelling).
